Fact:

1. Training for the Olympics is very expensive and can be a financial burden to all those involved.
2. Many athletes never attain their Olympic dreams due to these obstacles.
3. In addition to monetary concerns, athletes make incredible life sacrifices in order to be part of USA sports history and an Olympic legacy.
4. Once chosen as a member of a USA National team, an athlete has limited or no opportunity to be employed.
5. All financial support originates from family, sponsors, or fund raising efforts.
